Payroll, right to work and reporting records kept in good order for businesses that sponsor overseas staff, reducing compliance risk on both sides.
Settlement and citizenship
Clean tax filings and financial records that support Indefinite Leave to Remain and British citizenship applications when the time comes.

Frequently asked questions
Can TaxDigit help with UK immigration as well as tax?
TaxDigit handles the tax, accounting and company side. Where a client also needs immigration advice, we introduce them to Amir Zaidi through our legal network and coordinate both sides so the plan fits together.
Who is Amir Zaidi?
Amir Zaidi is an immigration lawyer and Managing Director of Westkin Associates. A barrister called in 1999, he has conducted over a thousand immigration appeals and was recommended by The Legal 500 in 2023.
How do I get started?
Contact TaxDigit on 01483 230 777 or at info@taxdigit.co.uk. We review your tax and business position and arrange the introduction where immigration advice is needed.
Do I need tax advice before moving to the UK?
Often, yes. Your UK tax position depends on when you become UK resident and on the income and gains you have abroad, so it is worth reviewing before you arrive. TaxDigit reviews the tax side and, where a visa or immigration question arises, introduces Amir Zaidi.
Can an accountant help with a UK business or investor visa?
An accountant cannot give immigration advice, but can prepare the company accounts, financial forecasts, payroll and bank records that business and sponsor applications often rely on. TaxDigit handles that work and coordinates with Amir Zaidi, who advises on the immigration route itself.
What UK tax questions do new arrivals usually have?
Common questions include UK tax residence under the Statutory Residence Test, how overseas income and gains are treated after arrival, registering for Self Assessment and, for business owners, setting up a UK company correctly. TaxDigit advises on each of these.
Immigration advice is provided by Westkin Associates under its own engagement terms and regulation. TaxDigit provides accountancy and tax services and does not give immigration advice.
